Our Philosophy

At Lola’s Child Care and Preschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by following their own unique style of discovery.

It is our goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas and learnings.

We are a bilingual program – daily care and activities will be provided in Russian and English, and children will be encouraged to speak Russian in return. Learning a second language at a young age encourages your child's intellectual and social development.

Children will learn through play in my program and I will also provide some daily lessons on Russian and English alphabet, numbers, shapes, and colors.

About Lola's

I opened Lola's Childcare and Preschool to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.

From that initial idea, we’ve thoughtfully designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts), and reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite).

Connecting with nature is vital to a child’s happiness and growth. Children will have some outdoor time every day at our private backyard. We also enjoy walking around our safe and lovely neighborhood.

Lola's Childcare and Preschool is located in a bright cozy, welcoming house in the Westlake neighborhood of Daly City.
